Original Watercolour Landscape & Marine Paintings at Myton Gallery, Hull

Richard Pearson was born in Goathland, North Yorkshire and attended Hull College of Art between 1958 and 1961. Richard Pearson works mainly in watercolour or pen and ink, the subject matter being essentially North Country and East Anglian landscapes evoking atmosphere and weather effects.
 

More recent work has been based on the photography of F.M. Sutcliffe of Whitby - entirely original paintings derived from Sutcliffe's late 19th century images. Richard Pearson has work in private collections throughout the U.K and abroad.
