Rob Sutton is a Hull born artist. With a background in engineering,
Rob is a married father of three young girls.
As a youngster Rob loved to sketch and had great
natural ability. In 2008 his wife bought him a gift of some paints,
which served as a catalyst for Rob to explore painting. Rob Sutton’s
first painting in oil was accepted for the highly competitive Ferens
Open Exhibition at Hull’s Ferens Art Gallery.
Rob views himself as being on a path of self
teaching, buoyed by the rewarding compliments and response his work
is receiving. His work is detailed with an air of dynamics often featuring
scenes of the East Riding of Yorkshire.
