ROYAL SOCIETY OF MARINE ARTISTS

The Royal Society of Marine Artists was founded in 1939 and is widely recognised for being the focal point for much of Britain's finest Marine Art.

The work is representational in the broadest sense, and the range of media includes oil painting, watercolour, gouache, acrylics and pastels.

Membership of the Society is achieved by yearly election of the existing Members with the Annual Exhibition taking place at the Mall Galleries in London. To become an RSMA Member is a very prestigious honour for an artist, with the active membership currently numbering only 51. Many Members are active in teaching, lecturing, and demonstrating their work.

Here at Myton Gallery I consider myself fortunate to exhibit the outstanding work of three RSMA artists; David Curtis, Bruce Mulcahy, and David Allen.
