After leaving school Sarah-Jane Szikora attended Northern
art colleges, specialising in illustration. In 1993 the decision was
made to dedicate herself to her dream of working as an artist, and Sarah-Jane
has done so ever since. Painted in vibrant, sweet shop colours, Sarah-Jane
Szikora's outrageously exaggerated figures and her amusing take on the
human condition would challenge even the sternest individual not to
crack a smile. Living and working in Gateshead, the North East of England
has always been Sarah-Jane's home.
With an enormous
response to her work, Sarah-Jane Szikora signed limited edition Giclee
prints are in great demand. Sarah-Jane Szikora has had several major
UK exhibitions.
