Atmospheric original watercolour painting 'Six Of The Best' by artist David Bell. This picture commemorates the reunion of the last six surviving A4 locomotives. They are, Union of South Africa, Bittern, Dominion of Canada, Sir Nigel Gresley, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Mallard. The National Railway Museum, with the 'Gathering' got together a rare if not unique collection of engines. The line-up of locomotives at York and Shildon was simply awesome. A once in a lifetime spectacle.
Image size:68 x 40cm. Frame size:96 x 69cm. The painting is sympathetically framed, but can be reframed at little or no extra cost.
